MY ART IS MY LIFE
I’ve been a creative my entire life, and I’ve been building a community of people who support me. If you’re reading this, then you’re one of those people and I’m grateful for you. Tomorrow is the official launch of jayglavany.com, my new website where I’ll be releasing a variety of creative offerings. To kick things off, my new single Everything’s Unknown featuring my brother Devontée will be exclusively available on the website.
While streaming services have allowed for artist discovery, they also negatively impacted the value of songs. We’re not used to paying for music anymore, but if we love it so much why don’t we buy it? The fact that you appreciate my music means you’re more than just a listener, you’re a curator. You understand the importance of taste, and every new record you love becomes part of your music collection. The music I put out requires a lot of investment, along with hours and hours of meticulous work. This isn’t just a hobby for me, this is my livelihood and my legacy. Yes, I make music because I love it, but I strongly believe my art has value and I hope you believe so too.
